Recently, the author discovered a pseudo-product of Albizia in Jiaozuo, Henan Province. The author identified it as the dried bark of Juglans mandshurica Max-im. The medicinal properties, powder characteristics, and physicochemical reactions of Albizia julibrissin and walnut pods were compared and used for identification. 1 See Pharmaceutics Characters in Ref. 2 For information on the characteristics of powders, please refer to Ref. 3 Physical and chemical reactions of Albizia julibrissin: Take 1g of this product powder, add 10ml of water, and warm the immersed in a 60°C water bath for 1 hour.
