一九九八年“两会”期间,江泽民总书记应吉林代表之邀,欣然写下《为<长白山诗词选>所作七绝二首》,全文如下:一九九一年一月,第三次到吉林,旧地重游,倍感亲切。恰逢雾凇奇景,满城冰挂,欣然秉笔,写下“寒江雪柳,玉树琼花,吉林树挂,名不虚传”。一九九八年三月“两会”期间,吉林同志索句京华,忆及旧景,思于今事,吟成七绝二首。
During the “two sessions” in 1998, General Secretary Jiang Zemin, at the invitation of the representative of Jilin, readily wrote down “Two Musts for the Selection of Selected Poems of the Changbai Mountains.” The full text is as follows: January 1991, for the third time Jilin, revisiting the old land, feels warm. It coincides with the haze of wonders, the ice hanging in the city, and is happily penned, and writes “Xiangjiang Xueliu, Yushu Qionghua, Jilin Tree Hanging, well-deserved reputation”. During the “two sessions” in March 1998, Jilin comrades made a statement of Jinghua, recalling the old scene, thinking about this matter, and making two unforgettable shots.
