On July 1, 1997, China will resume the exercise of sovereignty over Hong Kong.Hong Kong’s return will promote the economical cooperation between Hong Kong and the coastal cities in the mainland.It will also further impel the economical and technical cooperation between Hong Kong and the western district, especially Sichuan Province.In order to make good use of the opportunity bringing along with the economic development and the further opening of western China, the west enterprises must be made the main parts in economic and technical cooperation with Hong Kong investors. Through a series of effective and strategic reform, western China will become a economic and technieal partner of Hong Kong at the turn of the century.
