The transformation and promotion of traditional manufacturing technology is particularly important for China. Most of China’s existing machine tool equipment is old and is a labor-intensive machine tool. The world began to develop technology-intensive machine tools from the mid-1960s and began to develop high-tech intensive machine tools in the early 1980s. Technological transformation must not use labor-intensive new machine tools instead of old ones. Otherwise, the consequences are serious.
