Nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy has a wide range of applications in the field of organic chemistry, it is a powerful tool to determine the molecular structure of organic compounds. However, many organic compounds, due to the similar environment, often have overlapping resonance absorption peaks, resulting in difficulties in resolution. Using NMR Displacement Reagents allows overlapping spectra to be separated for ease of resolution. Optically active lanthanide metal β-diketonate complexes can be used to determine the content of optically active isomers.
