At the dawn of the 21st century, Taiwan’s “Retail Market” magazine invited Taiwan’s circulation industry operators and directors of relevant associations to interview and review the development of the retail industry. Makron’s goal: To pursue higher efficiency 10 years ago, Wanklong entered the Taiwan market and currently has 6 stores. At the beginning, it was obscure. The shop was located in the suburbs. The store was furnished as a warehouse and there was a large parking lot for customers to carry their own cargo. Later, consumers came to the rescue and bought packages. We all knew it was powerful. The new format of “wholesale warehouse” took root in Taiwan and became a major force on the circulation route. Its new strategy of shortening access, low-cost operations, ultra-low-cost pricing, and earning money shocked the circulation industry and caused revolutionary changes in access. The new general manager of Taiwan’s Wankelong, Mr. Brean, talks about the management and practices of future operations and reforms: adapting to the principle of solidity and adaptability.
