定向越野运动是一项具有群众性、趣味性、知识性、竞技性和军事意义的新型体育运动项目,它符合大学生的身心特点,受到广大学生的欢迎和喜欢,适宜在大学生中开展。近几年我国学生的身体素质,尤其是耐力素质出现下降趋势,出现田径课教学中的枯燥无味、学生锻炼积极性不高等状况。如何提高学生的耐力素质及应变能力,是高校体育教改面临的问题。而在田径教学中增设定向越野运动,可作为高校体育课程改革和创新的突破口,对学校体育教学的改革
Orienteering is a new sport with mass, interesting, intellectual, athletic and military significance. It is in line with the physical and mental characteristics of college students and is welcomed and liked by the majority of students. It is suitable for undergraduates. In recent years, the physical quality of our students, especially the endurance decline, there is a dullness in the teaching of track and field, the enthusiasm of students is not high. How to improve students’ endurance quality and adaptability is a problem that PE reform in colleges and universities faces. However, adding orienteering cross-country sports in the teaching of track and field can serve as a breakthrough point in the reform and innovation of physical education curriculum in colleges and universities, and the reform of physical education in schools
