After the Second World War, as Japan defeated and surrendered, the major victors such as the United States, Britain and the Soviet Union dispatched troops to land in different ways in Japan. From December 16 to December 26, 1945, foreign ministers of the Soviet Union, the United States and Britain held a meeting in Moscow to discuss some major issues in post-war Europe and the Far East. The meeting decided to postpone the control of Japan after the war.
