The traditional Chinese concept of “parents’ life can not be violated” is deeply rooted in the solidarity of some old-age babies. Difficult to conclude the grandparents to help children with the baby phenomenon is not unique to China. In Germany, more than half of young parents must regularly ask their grandparents to help take care of their children. More and more grandparents in Britain have to help take care of their grandchildren. The British government has also introduced a new “grandparent to take care of grandchildren” plan. However, in comparison with these countries, the contradictions between our young parents and grandparents are even more prominent on the issue of dolls.
