位于安徽省东部的滁州市南谯区属江淮丘陵地形,全区行政总面积166.8万亩,人口26.7万,林业用地38.2万亩,经分类经营和森林资源规划,生态公益林15.3万亩,商品林22.9万亩。南谯林业历经消灭宜林荒山、平原绿化、林业二次创业、结合绿色长廊工程、江淮分水岭“把树种上”工程和正在实施的退耕还林工程狠抓机遇、开拓进取,着力发展薪炭林、经果林、杨树和苗木花卉四大产业,推动南谯林业可持续发展。
