无论是大英博物馆中典藏的中国瓷器、玉器,还是杨柳青民居中的砖雕,墙上张贴的年画,厅里摆放的八仙桌,或者其它更多鉴赏中常见的器物,花草的纹饰几乎是不可或缺的一项元素。艺术来源于生活,中华民族是喜欢花草的民族,因此花草跃然的艺术品也就很常见。其实,世界各国的人们对美基本有着一致的理解:花草是无需诠释的美丽语言,更代表着人们美好的意向,所以它才会出现在各种艺术品之中,流传千百年。
