本文研究了利用突变理论分析大坝及岩基稳定性的基本原理，提出了利用尖点突变模型分析大坝和岩基稳定状况的判据及计算模型．由实例分析表明，其成果与有限元法分析和模型试验结果一致．
In this paper, the basic principle of using catastrophe theory to analyze the stability of dams and rock formations is studied. The criterion and calculation model for analyzing the stability of dams and rock foundations using cusp catastrophe model are proposed. The case study shows that the results are consistent with the results of finite element analysis and model test.
