辽宁东港市1992年开始稻田养殖革胡子鲶试验,当年试验稻田亩产革胡子鲶102公斤.1993年扩大试验,平均亩产120公斤,最高亩产20O公斤,平均个体重0.5公斤.最大个体0.85公斤,同时亩产水稻500公斤,获得鱼稻双丰收.东港市的养鱼稻田设计如下:在1亩水稻田中,沿田埂四周挖围沟,沟面宽1米、底宽0.4米、深1米,沟长120余米.同时,用挖起土加宽加高田埂.沟占稻田面积19%,插秧面积占81%.另外,在沟底设置儿管瓦管或毛竹管,每段长度为0.5~1米,既便于革胡子鲶栖息.也有利用捕捉与观察.与此同时,加强对稻田农药、鱼病防治以及投饵,施肥的管理,可取得理想的经济效益.
