托里拆利实验作为中学物理的经典实验,无论是从素质教育的角度还是从优化课堂教学的角度来看,该实验所起到的特殊作用,是其他任何教学手段都不可替代的.由于水银有毒,出于安全因素的考虑,教学时,大部分教师只是放放录像,或者讲一讲再让学生对照教材中的实验插图看一看,把该实验所蕴含的诸多教育因素都忽视了.现在重新认识托里拆利实验,旨在引起师生对实验教学的关注.
