Japan has a cultural tradition of female worship, and Japanese literature as a carrier of culture has always manifested this cultural mother. Kawabata Yasunari’s novel Sleeping Beauty also shows the tendency of female worship. The novel describes Sleeping Beauty as an angel or a God who uses the purity and vitality of adolescent girls to save the elderly who are deprived of their vitality and their lives by the majesty and kindness of maternity, in the sense that sleeping beauty is no longer a prostitute, Redeemer, has become the god of religion. Yasunari Kawabata expressed his admiration for women through such an insane story.
