本文结合本科教学实践,分析了“聚合物纳米复合材料”专业课程实行双语教学中所遇到的教材选择、师资配置、学生英语水平、教学进度和教学评价难等问题,并从双语教学课程的外文教材的改编、师资队伍建设、双语教学授课对象英语水平的提高、双语教学进度与非双语教学进度的配合、双语课程考核模式的改革等五个方面提出了相应的改进方法和建议。教学实践表明,“聚合物纳米复合材料”专业课的双语教学,能够显著提高学生英语阅读能力和听力,切实提高双语课程的教学效果,培养出既懂专业知识又能用外语进行科学研究和人际交流的国际化人才,适应高等教育国际化的发展趋势。
Based on the undergraduate teaching practice, this paper analyzes the problems encountered in the bilingual teaching of “Polymer Nanocomposites” such as teaching material selection, teacher allocation, students’ English proficiency, teaching progress and teaching evaluation. The adaptation of foreign language teaching materials, the construction of teaching staff, the improvement of bilingual teaching target English, the cooperation of bilingual teaching progress and non-bilingual teaching progress, the reform of bilingual curriculum assessment mode and so on, puts forward corresponding improvement methods and suggestions. Teaching practice shows that bilingual teaching of polymer nanocomposites can significantly improve students’ English reading ability and listening comprehension, effectively improve the teaching effect of bilingual courses, cultivate students who can understand both professional knowledge and foreign language Interpersonal exchanges of international personnel, to adapt to the trend of internationalization of higher education.
