本刊编委朱梅生同志,1924年出生于江苏高邮,1992年3月22日于出差途中因病遽然逝世,享年六十有八。梅生同志早岁攻读土本工程,大学毕业后投身铁路事业,1951年起从事铁路勘测设计,以工程地质为专业,足迹遍及华东、中南各省区,在各铁路新线及复线勘测设计中贡献良多,历任队长、主任工程师、铁道部第四勘测设计院工程地质路基处代总工程师,并获高级工程师(教授级)职衔。
Our editor-in-chief Comrade Zhu Meisheng was born in 1924 in Gaoyou, Jiangsu. On March 22, 1992, he died of illness on the way to business and died at the age of 60. Comrade Meisheng studied soil engineering at an early age. After graduating from college, he devoted himself to the railway industry. He started to conduct railway survey and design in 1951, and specialized in engineering geology. He traveled all over the provinces of East China and South Africa, and made good contributions to the survey of railway new lines and double lines Many, served as captain, chief engineer, Ministry of Railways Survey and Design Institute of Engineering Geology subgrade chief engineer, and was a senior engineer (professor level) title.
