2003年,对于中国人来说是艰难的一年,肆虐的非典给整个中国大地蒙上了一层阴霾。就在这一年,《中华合作时报》不仅在困难面前坚持着媒体人的信念,展露出媒体人的风骨,更是在这一年大胆革新版面,将视角逐步延伸,为供销合作社的发展提供了更多、更新、更广的资讯。与此同时,随着《合作金融》以及《棉花导刊》的陆续创刊,中华合作时报逐渐形成了以主报《经济新闻》统领,各周刊齐头并进的传媒新姿态。
