教师的信念是教师教学行为的有力支撑,也是教师教学成效的重要保证。教学信念的重要性对大学英语教师来说也是如此。本文就国内外关于外语教师教学信念的研究进行回顾,目的是对当前大学英语教师的教学信念研究有一个总体的认知,希望对当代的大学英语教师有一定的启发。
Teachers’ belief is a powerful support for teachers’ teaching behaviors and an important guarantee for teachers’ teaching effectiveness. The importance of teaching beliefs is also true for college English teachers. This article reviews the domestic and foreign researches on the teaching beliefs of foreign language teachers. The purpose of this article is to provide a general understanding of the current college English teachers’ teaching beliefs and hopefully to inspire the contemporary college English teachers.
