Diniconazole is a fungicide original, attending powdery mildew, rust and other diseases. The author in 1993 application of diniconazole in peanut leaf spot prevention and control test, the results and carbendazim similar control effect. However, it was unexpectedly found that diniconazole significantly reduced the height of peanut and controlled the growth of seedlings. From 1999 to 2000, diniconazole was used as a growth inhibitor in peanut field. The results showed that diniconazole was an excellent growth inhibitor in peanut field
