国家经济信息系统项目是一项利用外国政府贷款的国家级项目，在我国部门信息化建设历程中，具有典型的示范作用。该项目由国家计委委托国家信息中心牵头，涉及23个中央部委（局）和38个省、直辖市、自治区和计划单列市，共61个项目单位捆绑合成的特大型信息系统应用工程项目。
The National Economic Information System project is a state-level project that uses foreign government loans. It has a typical demonstration role in the process of China’s departmental informationization. This project was led by the State Planning Commission and led by the National Information Center. It involves 23 central ministries and commissions (branches) and 38 provinces, municipalities directly under the Central Government, autonomous regions, and cities with separate plans, and a total of 61 project units bundled and synthesized a large-scale information system application engineering project.
