Deformation analysis or stability analysis of earth-rock dams, especially high earth-rock dams, is currently not mature enough. Therefore, most of the calculation and analysis results need to be verified by model tests and protosomatic observations. There are two types of model tests: centrifugal model tests and static model tests. The centrifuge model test of a deep earth-rock dam with deep coverings still has the following difficulties: 1 The ratio of the model size to the radius of the centrifuge cannot generally be greater than 1:10. The radius of existing foreign centrifuges is between 2 and 9m (the radius of domestic centrifuges is very small).
