Customers have become primary assets in the retail world Retail is undergoing a fundamental change, however, to grasp how to benefit from this change in the business probably is one of the few. Today’s customers have become the primary assets of the retail industry. As a result, retailers will also change their role of gaining customer information and helping customers to consume more effectively, shifting from serving mainly manufacturers to providing the right range of stores and commodities to providing customers with a way to consume. Therefore, retailers either seek to minimize their costs of goods or to find and develop new business opportunities. Is this a revolution? Science and technology in the meantime
