There are altogether 210 animal remains unearthed from the tomb tombs of the Putuoxuequ during the Spring and Autumn Period in the Putuo County of Naqu County, Naqu County, Tibet Autonomous Region. Currently, the number of identifiable specimens is 83, representing a minimum of 8 individuals, at least representing dogs, horses and sheep Three types of mammals. The tombs are by far the first stone tombs with absolute dating data in northern Tibet. The animal sacrifices based on the combination of dogs, sheep and horses clearly show the pattern of nomadic life. The artifacts contained therein also reflect some cultural factors similar to those unearthed from the Shikizu tomb in the western Sichuan and other regions. Their cultural assemblages and burial locations also show similarities with the Jiri Longshi chamber tomb in western Sichuan. It can be seen that in the early era of metalworking, the cultural exchange in the areas of Tibet with West Sichuan and the northwestern Yunnan was actually not limited to the eastern part of Tibet. It is more likely to expand to a vast area in northern Tibet.
