经过几年的发展与完善,中国专利保护水平已达国际水准,专利制度日渐与国际接轨。1994年1月1日中国将正式成为国际专利合作条约(RCT)的成员国。在中国专利局今年受理的专利申请中,海外份额猛增。 今年1至9月,中国专利局所受理的专利申请总量为57,306件,比去年同期增长22％。其中台湾3,836件,比去年同期增74％;国外6,049件,比去年同期增长69％。由于采用自动化手段管理审批流程和专利文献检索,1至9月的专刊批准量比去年同期提高116％。专利申请中海外份额猛增,表明中国在世界专利领域里已享有声誉。世界知识产权组织总干事鲍格胥指出:“中国已经成为专利世界中的领袖之一,中国专利局已进入世界五大专利局的行列。”
After several years of development and improvement, the level of patent protection in China has reached the international standard, and the patent system has gradually become in line with the international standards. January 1, 1994 China will officially become a member of the International Patent Cooperation Treaty (RCT). In the patent applications accepted by the Chinese Patent Office this year, the overseas share soared. From January to September this year, the total number of patent applications handled by the Chinese Patent Office was 57,306, an increase of 22% over the same period of last year. Among them, 3,836 were from Taiwan, an increase of 74% over the same period of last year; 6,049 were from abroad, an increase of 69% over the same period of last year. Due to the adoption of automated means to manage the approval process and patent document retrieval, the amount of special issue approval from January to September increased 116% over the same period of last year. The sharp increase in the share of overseas applications in patent applications shows that China enjoys a reputation in the world patent field. Bogsch, Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization, pointed out: “China has become one of the leaders in the patent world and the Chinese Patent Office has entered the ranks of the top five patent offices in the world.”
