利用母体血清α-胎蛋白(AFP)筛选程序,能有效地评价单胎妊娠的开放性神经管缺陷(NTD)阳性检测率、假阳性率及阳性孕妇的受累优势,但对双胎妊娠仅能评价假阳性率,对受累双胎妊娠不能估评阳性孕妇的检测率和受累情况。为获得上述资料,作者收集分析了英国格拉斯哥等6所研究中心46对含1例以上开放性NTD的双胎妊娠资料,其中含1例无脑儿的20对,有1例开放性脊柱裂的23对,双胎受累者3对中无脑儿2例(1例结合性),开放性脊柱裂1例;用169例正常双胎作对照;两组均有孕13~24周的AFP检查结果。
