Preface An obvious linear structure (the Proto-Gold Belt) separates the Precambrian southeast and southwestern Scandinavia (Figure 1). There have been several tectonic interpretations of this belt, and the band is specifically considered to be an extension of the Greenville front in Scandinavia. Although the previous interpretation of this zone did not consider mineralization issues, this paper pays particular attention to the presence of smaller Fe-Mn-Ba, Pb-Cu-Zn-Ag and red-bed copper deposits along the Proterozoic belt. When it comes to their special tectonic features, special attention should be paid to the above-mentioned mineralization, especially the linear structure and the occurrence of graben mineralization.
