The photoelectric effect is an important and magical phenomenon in physics. It was discovered by German physicist Hertz in 1887 on the experimental study of Maxwell’s electromagnetic theory that Einstein successfully proposed the famous photon hypothesis in 1905. The concepts mentioned in general physics at university and in current high school physics are that light that strikes a metal surface causes electrons in the metal to escape from the surface, a phenomenon known as the photoelectric effect. Many people therefore think that if the photoelectric effect occurs, there must be a photoelectron escape, and even the presence or absence of photoelectrons escape as to whether it occurs
