二月八日钢铁杂志编辑部在北京召开了专业编辑扩大会议,有焦化、炼铁、炼钢、钢加工、热工、金属学、机械动力、分析检验、企业设计、粉末冶金、流态化等11个专业的专业编辑和极积分子出席了会议,陆达总编辑做了钢铁杂志1959年的工作总结。冶金工业部刘彬副部长到会做了重要指示。刘副部长指出,办好办杂志首先要立大志,要政治挂帅,走群众路线;杂志内容要有思想性,耍体现出辩证法在技术上的应用,耍启发读者敢想、敢干,通过杂志要体现出我国钢铁大军的首创精神和革命精神。我们的杂志一定要反映总路线、大跃进和大闹技术革命的动态和成绩,要有我国的独特风格。
