US IC manufacturers have gradually become less interested in the military market. This is due to many problems with their supply and the required production standards, and the manufacturers are not getting the desired benefits. The author thinks, do not regard the integrated circuit as a single device, but should cooperate with the integrated circuit manufacturer from the system design stage. In this way, when the integrated circuit system is manufactured, it is easy to check whether the circuit to be used has been discontinued. The authors also believe that military ICs required the production standards should be independent. If, as the case so far, its standards vary, and often change, then the integrated circuit manufacturers can not be free to produce, which will not be eligible for mass production of this preferential conditions.
