以维新派报刊为代表的近代报刊在中国社会变革中扮演着十分重要的角色,它提供给知识分子活动的空间和政治舞台,帮助普通民众获得新知识和新思想,改变着中国社会的知识和思想图景,催生着人们变革社会的热情。现代社会中,由传统媒体与新媒体共同构成的“众声喧哗”的媒体现实,正在越来越深刻地影响甚至改变着重大社会事件的进展,推动和影响着整个社会的民主进程。史鉴近代报刊对于中国社会转型的深刻影响,积极构筑健康和谐的现代媒体生态,创造优良的社会媒体舆论空间,正有利于加快推进社会主义民主进程。
Modern newspapers and periodicals, represented by the reformist newspapers and periodicals, play an important role in the social transformation in China. They provide the space for intellectual activities and the political arena to help ordinary people acquire new knowledge and new ideas, change the knowledge of Chinese society and Ideological scene, birth of people’s enthusiasm for change in society. In modern society, the media truth of “hubbub” composed of traditional media and new media is more and more profoundly influencing or even changing the progress of major social events, and promoting and influencing the democratic progress of the entire society. The modern newspapers and periodicals in history have profound impact on the social transformation in China, actively building a healthy and harmonious modern media ecology and creating excellent social media space for public opinion are helping to speed up the process of socialist democracy.
