On November 6, 2003, the founding ceremony of the Military Law Research Center of China University of Political Science and Law and the academic seminar on military law were held in Beijing. More than 30 experts on military law from research institutes and substantive departments attended the conference. In order to promote the study of military jurisprudence and promote the rule of law in the armed forces, China University of Political Science and Law established the first military law research center of non-military academies and hired three specialists such as Song Dan.
