Objective: To investigate the expression of focal adhesion kinase (FAK) and Paxillin in gastric adenocarcinoma and normal tissues and their clinical significance. Methods: The expressions of P-FAK and Paxillin were detected by immunohistochemical SP method In 85 cases of gastric adenocarcinoma and 20 cases of normal tissue. We used Spearman to analyze the correlation between them. Results: The expression of P-FAK and Paxillin in gastric adenocarcinoma was significantly higher than that in normal tissues (47% vs5% ; 70% vs 30%, all P <0.05), but not with age and sex (P> 0.05), but also with the degree of differentiation, depth of invasion, lymph node metastasis and clinical stage of gastric adenocarcinoma (P < (P <0.05) .Conclusion: P-FAK and Paxillin play an important role in the occurrence, development, metastasis and prognosis of gastric adenocarcinoma, which may be considered as a marker of gastric adenocarcinoma Clinical evaluation of tumor biological behavior and prognostic indicators.
