陈独秀是我国现代史上著名的教育家,他的教育思想非常丰富。对于他在五四时期教育思想的演变,论者大多从政治、哲学思想的角度予以探讨。本文则尝试从另一角度对这一转变做出概括,即认为陈独秀的教育思想在五四时期经历了一个从专注个人到重在社会的演变过程。促成这一转变的原因有三个,一是杜威实用主义教育思想的影响,二是陈独秀接受了马克思主义,三是与新文化运动的转向有关。
Chen Duxiu is a famous educator in the modern history of our country, and his educational thinking is very rich. For his evolution of educational thought in the May 4th Movement, most of the scholars discussed it from the angle of politics and philosophy. This article attempts to summarize this shift from another angle, that is, Chen Duxiu’s educational thought went through an evolution from focus on individual to emphasis on society during the May 4th Movement. There are three reasons for this change. One is Dewey’s influence on pragmatism education. The second is that Chen Duxiu accepted Marxism. The third is related to the shift of the New Culture Movement.
