● Learning Tips This module describes the history of the victory of the Anti-Japanese War in August 1945 and the establishment of the People’s Republic of China in September 1949. The main contradiction in this period of Chinese society is the contradiction between the Chinese people and the Kuomintang reactionaries supported by US imperialism. The basic feature is the People’s Liberation War. The process of the liberation of the people is also the process of the Chiang Kai-shek clique going to ruin, and the imperialist aggression forces withdrawing from China.
