在音叉测听年代,常规用高频率测试用具,先是Galton笛,以后有S truyken单音弦,后者无泛音失真,较前者为优。单音弦能作气导和骨导测试,气导测试时由于器械在耳部及耳道的位置不同而产生不同结果。一般说来,在年青健康人,频率的上限骨导为17~26kHz,气导为15~20kHz,用单音调测试时,骨导方法比气导有效,有助于老年聋的诊断和鉴别。有了电听力计后,由于耳机的事先校准,大于6~8 kHz的频率不可信而废弃,并认为听言语不过是300~2000Hz,定言语频率为500,1000,2000,高至8kHz已足够,降低了高频率测试的重要性。至60年代,对此始予否定,言语还有更高频率,更重要的是10kHz以上者,可提供听器早期病变,例如耳毒性药物,从组织学发现,首先是螺旋器基 In the tuning fork audiometry, conventional high-frequency test utensils, first Galton flute, later S truyken monosyllable, the latter without harmonic distortion, the former is better.
