自从异菸肼应用于抗结核以来,目前以利福平为最好的抗结核药物,但是利福平的应用出现耐药菌株较快,为其主要缺点。为观察鼠麻风应用利福平后,其麻风瘤的变化情况,经实验结果如下:第一组:用夏威夷菌株鼠麻风菌的10~3菌液0.2毫升,于小白鼠的下腹部皮下接种。从接种后第二天开始用0.5毫克的利福平喂小白鼠,每周喂6次,经喂14周可以完全抑制鼠麻风发病,而在停用利福平10周后,在原接种部位发生硬结,逐渐增大形成麻风瘤。
