广东省四会县大旺华侨农场,是一个以糖蔗为主的国营农场。场内有一座日榨量1,500吨的糖厂,人口近3万(其中不少是越南归侨)。纵横10万亩沃土上,农、林、牧、副、鱼以及工商各业,都呈现出一派蓬勃向上的新景象。近几年来,农场工农业年总产值稳定在3,500万元。从1978年以来,每年上缴利润为400万元。然而,解放前这里却是血吸虫病严重流行的地方。
