文中叙述了高炉中不同部位焦炭性质的变化,特别是炉身下部、软熔层附近、风口区等部位焦炭.通过比较,可以肯定CO_2溶碳反应比热力和机械作用对焦炭性质的恶化起更重要的影响.要判明高炉中焦炭准确的溶碳失重是困难的,但可以根据焦炭固定碳含量和必要校正来估计碳素失重率.这一估计值对焦炭块度减小、强度降低、碱金属含量和气孔增大等性质都有良好的相关,这可做为分析焦炭性质恶化机理的参考.作者认为,使焦炭在CO_2反应到一定程度后仍具有块度与强度较高的稳定性,将是良好的高炉焦炭必要条件,这可以通过炼焦工艺的改进来达到.
