化石羽毛颜色特征对探讨带毛恐龙和早期鸟类的起源及其生活习性有着重要的意义。本文论述了现生羽毛成色机制和化石羽毛颜色复原的相关研究进展,认为化石羽毛结构色的恢复是羽毛化石研究工作的一大难点。结构色在现生羽毛中具有重要地位,并且与羽毛结构演化有着密切的关系,因此在无法确定化石羽毛精细结构的情况下,对处于演化早期阶段的羽毛化石,仅通过化学色素来复原其颜色具有较高的合理性。
The fossil feather color characteristics are of great significance for exploring the origins and habits of the feathered dinosaurs and early birds. In this paper, the research progress on the mechanism of feather color formation and the color restoration of fossil feathers are discussed. It is considered that the restoration of fossil feather structure color is a major difficulty in the research of feather fossils. Structural color plays an important role in the existing feathers and is closely related to the evolution of the feather structure. Therefore, in the event that the fossil feather structure can not be determined, the feathered fossils in the early stage of evolution recover their color only through chemical coloring With high rationality.
