我县甜菜种植面积由1981年的三万亩到1983年实播面积发展为八万多亩。但从目前生产水平看产量、质量一直较低,平均亩产仅在一吨左右,含糖率也仅在15%左右。如何从技术措施方面提高产量和质量,增加经济收益,从1981年起我们应用黑龙江省石油化学研究所研制的新型植物激素——三十烷醇在甜菜上进行试验,从中筛选出最佳的施用浓度和施用方法,肯定了三十烷醇的增产、增糖效果。三年来,从小区试验到大面积生产示范(1982年示范面积700亩,1983年施用面积三万多亩),均收到了良好的增产增糖效果。
