Gasoline carburetors currently on the market have changed so rapidly that small gasoline engine accessory designers find themselves often overwhelmed with the assessment of nearly constantly changing vaporizers and fuel systems. With the correct initial selection of the basic carburetor form, the simplest fuel system that meets performance requirements can be obtained. Most ordinary small gasoline engines and fuel system design parameters are included in the comprehensive parameter list. The basic carburetor types available are listed separately by their advantages and disadvantages.
