彩色神话戏曲片《火焰山》是根据吉林省京剧团演出的传统京剧《孙悟空三调芭蕉扇》改编的。《火焰山》由舞台搬上银幕,借助于电影特技拍摄手段,具体生动地表现了神话内容,使这个神话色彩很浓的传统剧目以新的姿态展现在观众面前。该片特技镜头共计189个,约占全片的五分之二。主要镜头有孙悟空探视火焰山、铁扇公主变化、孙悟空斗红孩、砍头劈身、金箍棒变大,野外起风、悟空变蜂、腹内悟空、铁扇公主吐猴、火焰山悟空八戒斗火
Color Mythology “Flaming Mountain” is based on the traditional Peking Opera “Monkey King Banana fan” performed by the Peking Opera Troupe of Jilin Province. “Flaming Mountain” was brought onto the screen from the stage.
