山茶花系我国原产的传统名花,色泽以淡紫、深紫、纯红、粉红、白色品种为多见。1964年经广西植物工作者的努力首次发现并培育了纯金黄色的茶花(Camellia,chrysantha(Hu)Tuyama)。目前,除普通品种的金花茶外,又发现微香型平果金花茶、毛瓣金花茶、顶生金花茶、毛籽金花茶、小果金花茶、薄叶金花茶、显脉金花茶、凹脉金花茶、柠檬金花茶、小金花茶、淡黄金花茶等十五个各具特色的金花茶新品种,还有10个未完全定名的独特品种。从此,广西
