科学的进步,从根本上讲,是方法论的进步,同一学科,由于研究手段、观点、思维方式的发展,即会出现令人惊叹的变化。社会主义新方志的出现,便是对传统方志在方法论意义上扬弃的结果。因此,新方志的方法论问题是方志埋论的一个首要问题。然而,纵观十余年的方志理论研讨与修志实践,我们发现,新方志的方法论问题,虽然以对社会主义新方志定义的形式提了出来,但长期以来始终未能对其具体理论内涵进行系统的阐述,“以马克思主义的辩证唯物主义、历史唯物主义的世界观、方法论为指导”的要求,只能停留于原则,不能有效地指导编纂实践,使志书无法具备应有的哲学高度、历史高度,志书的质量受到严重影响。笔者在此拟对新方志方法论问题作初浅的探讨。 Scientific progress, fundamentally speaking, is the progress of methodology.
