地方官员是代表国家政权与乡村社会发生关系,也通过这种关系维系乡村社会的稳定。本文认为地方官员利用中国家赋予的权利,他们在乡村中参与教化、移风易俗、评理冤狱、打击盗贼、抑制豪民、防灾救灾。这些举措对于雏系乡村社会稳定,加强国家对乡村社会的控制起到至关重要的作用。 Local officials, on behalf of the state power and the rural community, also maintain the stability of rural society through such relations. This paper argues that local officials make use of the rights granted by the Chinese government. They participate in enlightenment in rural areas, evade customs, misjudge justice, crack down on thieves, discourage pride, and provide disaster prevention and relief. These measures play a crucial role in nurturing rural social stability and strengthening state control of rural society.
