影片是综合性艺术,靠组成银幕形象的诸种艺术因素打动观众。然而每当影院散场,常常听到的议论只是在讲故事如何如何、演员如何如何,而对于诸如音乐、效果、服装道具及画面构图却较少进行评价。特别是电影音乐,除了那些极易流行的插曲之外,其他配曲就很难被观众所注意。这究竟是为什么呢?我觉得有两方面原因。一是观众方面的,我们的观众看电影常常处于看故事的水平,对电影音乐并不重视;二是由于故事片打动人的主要是情节、人物和台词。如果作曲家不理解这种特点,而一味的用音乐去点缀画面,滥用音乐和插曲,便收不到预期的效果。聪明的作曲家常常采用比较单纯的音乐形象,借用民歌中常用的“复沓”手法,反复的出现同一音乐旋律,来加强观众对音乐形象的感受。例如故事片《柳堡的故事》,就用“九九艳阳天”的主题音乐反复变奏贯穿全片,使人们在看完电影后似乎仍然生活在
The film is a comprehensive art, impressed by the various artistic factors that make up the screen image. However, whenever the theater comes to an end, the often-heard remarks are only about how stories are told and how the actors are, but less about such things as music, effects, costume props, and picture composition. In particular, movie music, in addition to those popular episodes, the other distribution is difficult to be the audience’s attention. Why is this? I think there are two reasons. First, the audience, our audience often watch movies at the level of the story, the film does not pay attention to music; second is due to the story of the film is moving the plot, characters and lines. If the composer does not understand such a characteristic, but blindly use the music to decorate the screen, abuse of music and episodes, they do not receive the expected results. Clever composers often use a relatively simple image of music, borrowing commonly used in folk songs “complex” approach, repeated the same music melody, to enhance the audience’s perception of the music image. For example, the feature film “The Story of Liubao” uses the theme music of “Nine Nine Sunny” repeatedly through the whole film so that after watching the movie, people still seem to live in
