中国语境下的英语学习者由于文化取向、价值观念、社会准则、思维方式等方面与英语本族语使用者之间存在着巨大的差异,从而导致学习者对自我的文化身份的认同出现迷失。帮助英语学习者了解本族语与外族语之间的文化差异,重新建构自我的文化身份是英语教学过程中的重中之重。
English learners in Chinese context have great differences from English native speakers due to their cultural orientation, values, social norms, and ways of thinking, which leads to the loss of their recognition of their own cultural identities . To help English learners understand the cultural differences between native speakers and native speakers and reconstruct the cultural identity of themselves is the most important task in English teaching.
