采用全球地震台网(GSN)宽频带垂直分向记录,选取P波初至后10分钟的波形,通过远震P波高频辐射能量,估算了2008年5月12日汶川MS8.0地震的震源时间函数、破裂时间和有限地震断层的传播方向。所得结果与其他方法得到的结果大体一致,说明此方法作为一种震源特性的快速粗测方法是可行的。但对于汶川地震这一震例,该方法并不能很好地揭示地震震源过程的细节。
Using the global vertical seismic record of GSN, the waveform of the first 10 minutes after the P wave was selected and the energy of the P wave high frequency radiation was used to estimate the Wenchuan MS8.0 earthquake on May 12, 2008 Source time function, rupture time and propagation direction of finite seismic fault. The obtained results are in good agreement with the results obtained by other methods, which shows that this method is feasible as a fast rough measurement method for source characteristics. However, for the Wenchuan earthquake this earthquake case, this method does not reveal the details of the earthquake source process well.
