中国科学院合肥物质科学研究院强磁场科学中心的研究人员研发出一种新型高质量拓扑超导单晶体。其超导性能高达91.5%,且在空气中十分稳定,在10T~35T磁场区间出现了周期性的量子振荡信号,证明其存在拓扑保护表面态。拓扑超导态是物质的一种新状态,拓扑超导体的表面存在厚度约为1nm的受拓扑保护的无能隙的金属态,内部则是超导体。如果将拓扑超导体一分为二,新的表面又会出现厚度约为1nm的受拓扑保护的金属态。这种奇特的性质使得拓扑超导体成为制造量子计算机的理想材料。
Researchers at the High Magnetic Field Science Center of the Hefei Institute of Material Science, Chinese Academy of Sciences have developed a new type of high-quality topological single crystal. Its superconductivity is as high as 91.5% and stable in the air. The periodic quantum oscillation signal appears in the field of 10T ~ 35T magnetic field, which shows that it has topological protection surface state. Topology The superconducting state is a new state of matter. Topology superconductors have topology-protected, metal-free, metal-gapped metal layers with a thickness of about 1 nm and superconductors inside. If you split the topological superconductor in two, the new surface will have a topologically protected metal state with a thickness of about 1 nm. This peculiar nature makes topology superconductors the ideal material for making quantum computers.
